Earlier, there were only rumors that the next version of the apple iPod Touch will be equipped with a camera.

But, now it has been unofficially confirmed that the device will surely have camera in it.
We have received some pictures of ‘Screen Impact’ testing that reveal that the iPod touch of 3rd generation will surprise its fan’s with a rear-mounted camera.

The pictures clearly show one of the gadget’s circuit boards and a camera sensor module for the rear-facing camera (seen separately). These pictures confirm that the next apple iPod Touch will have the same size and aspect screen.

The headphone port, sleep/wake button, volume buttons and plastic antenna cover will be just like the previous version. In the new iPod Touch model, the camera will depict an iPhone-like metal ring around the lens and also a pinhole located on the right side.

So, when the new iPod touch releases, get ready to click some nice and cool snaps of your friends and close ones. Now, the iPod Touch will not only give you music entertainment, but pictures too.
