A large number of people who use ipod Touch of both first and second-generation are reporting Wi-Fi irregularities after the iPhone OS 3.0 installation.
The reports say that the most common problem is the iPod touch fails to reconnect to the last network when it is switched off, so the user hast to reconnect the phone manually every time. Some users have said that resetting the network settings fixes everything while others says this does not work to solve the problem.
People are facing this problem on both first and second-generation of Touch range. And reports say that resetting the network settings work on the second generation ipod touch but the same thing does not work for the first generation ipod touch. The first generation cheap ipod Touch fails to sense its own Wi-Fi chip, it display a ‘No Wi-F’ notification message.
Some people have reported more mild problems like reduced Wi-Fi sign or problem in getting the phone reconnected after the installation.
