In the past week, there was news that Apple has given green signal to nudity as new content on its iphone and a nudity application was launched too named ‘Hottest Girls”.
But, this week, everything has changed. The nudity application has been removed from the Apple Store. Initially, the developer of that apps claimed that it was removed to relieve server load, but the decision has been taken by apple to remove it permanently. Apple told CNN that it will not distribute ‘porn or adult content’. The app developer added adult content directly from the server after the application was approved. Apple says that this is a direct violation of the ‘iPhone Developer Program’ terms and conditions. Actually the application was ‘porn’, but an adult app that was named porn for good headlines on the internet. It is interesting that Apple removed the application when the company’s rating system seems to allow nudity.
