Apple’s annual ‘Back to School’ promotion is still running with people taking advantage of great rebate offers in large number. This is the scheme from Apple that invites students and educators every year. As per this promotion, they can get a free 8GB iPod touch or they can also get a less expensive iPod when they purchase a qualifying Mac computer.
For the eligibility criteria of this scheme, the educators or students must buy purchase a new iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air at the educational price and buy an iPod at the same time. People from the academic background can mail in the proof of their Mac purchase from Apple to get a rebate for their iPod purchase (up to $229). The other qualifying iPod models are the 4GB iPod shuffle of the third-generation, 8GB and 16GB iPod Nano of the fourth-generation, 120GB iPod classic or more expensive touch models. The rebate on the iPod classic is $20 off its original price and for the iPod expensive touch models it is $229.
This ‘Back to School’ scheme is available only for the residents of U.S. and Canada. This scheme was started in the May and will run through 8th September, 2009.
