It’s great. I purchased this one for myself and happy with it. The battery life of this device last up to 14 hours. The storage capacity is 500 to 1000 songs.
The height is 3.5 inches with 1.6 inches width. It has 1.5 inches LCD screen. The device weight only 1.5 oz and the resolution is also great - 176 x 132 pixels.
This version is so small, yet gives complete entertainment. I enjoy movies, shows, itunes, and photos. After this, so many versions have been launched, but still this is the best.

It’s a very slim ipod that has vivid color LCD screen. It has rich sound, games. It works perfectly with Outlook.
This ipod model comes prevents skipping of tracks. The big advantage is that it has a flash-based memory.
Some minus points are that it has no FM, no voice/line-in recorder. Also, you cannot replace the 6GB storage capacity of ipod mini with this ipod model. You can quickly zoom through playlists because of the acceleration of the click wheel.
The interface is very intuitive. To navigate through items, you need to scroll and then press the center button. Use the Menu button for inside programs. Also you can use this button to move the time slider. It gives quicker access to features like backlight and shuffle functions. The Play/Pause button also works for turning off the ipod. This cheap 4gb ipod nano version is just perfect.
